Navigate the Map
Rotate & Tilt the 3D View
Desktop: Right-click + drag to rotate and tilt. Ctrl + left-click + drag also works. Scroll to zoom. Mobile: Two-finger drag to rotate. Two-finger tilt up/down to change angle. Pinch to zoom. Compass: The compass (bottom-right) shows north. Click it to reset, or drag it to rotate.
ClickClick any point for a detailed forecast — an amber marker appears showing exactly where you tapped. Temperature, wind, precipitation, and hourly NWS data.
My LocationOpen search (click the location icon or press /) then tap My Location — flies to your GPS position and shows a bright "YOUR LOCATION" pin with arrow.

Weather Layers
RRadar — live MRMS precipitation radar, updates every 2 minutes
TTemperature — HRRR 3km forecast temperature color wash
WWind — animated particles showing wind speed and direction
PPrecipitation — HRRR forecast precipitation
SSatellite — GOES visible imagery from space
AAlerts — NWS severe weather alerts (color-coded polygons)
View & 3D
VView mode — cycles Top (flat) → Tilt (30° with terrain) → 3D (60° full terrain). Right-click drag to fine-tune.
EElevated Radar — floating radar layer at cloud altitude above terrain (on by default)
Map Details
County boundaries and major roads appear as you zoom in, providing geographic context under the weather layers. City labels stand upright in 3D mode and always face you.
Timeline (Bottom Bar)
SpacePlay — animates from -50 minutes through NOW and into the +60 minute forecast
DragSlider — left of NOW shows past radar frames. Right of NOW shows the futurecast: radar dims, HRRR precipitation forecast fades in, and temperature interpolates toward +1h. Real clock times shown on ticks.
